01 / MY APPROACH
Prepared before we meet. Present when we talk.
A consultation should give you time to be heard, ask questions, and understand the plan.
01
Preparation starts before the visit.
I review the available records, imaging, and prior treatment before entering the room. That preparation lets us build on your history and spend our time discussing what it means for you.
02
My attention is on you.
I make eye contact, listen without rushing, and leave room for your questions. I put devices aside during our conversation, bringing a screen into the discussion when an image or explanation can help.
03
Clear choices, made together.
We discuss the reasons for a recommendation, the alternatives, likely benefits, side effects, and uncertainties. Your health, priorities, and daily life help shape the decision—including whether radiation is the right next step.
02 / CLINICAL FOCUS
A broad practice. Individualized care.
I practice as a general radiation oncologist, treating a broad range of cancers as well as selected noncancerous conditions. Each recommendation starts with your diagnosis, the goal of treatment, and the options that fit your situation.
01
Cancer care across organ sites
My practice spans breast, lung, prostate, head and neck, gastrointestinal, gynecologic, brain, and other cancers. I work with your care team on radiation for initial treatment, recurrent disease, or relief of cancer-related symptoms.
GENERAL RADIATION ONCOLOGY02
Focused treatment for complex situations
My experience includes stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT), and reirradiation. These approaches may be considered for brain tumors, prostate cancer, limited metastatic disease, and selected recurrences.

03 / BEYOND CANCER
Radiation for benign conditions.
I also evaluate patients for low-dose radiation therapy for selected noncancerous conditions. We consider the stage of the condition, prior treatments, available evidence, potential benefits, and short- and long-term risks.
Suitability depends on the condition and the individual. For Dupuytren’s disease, radiation is considered in selected early, progressive cases; it does not straighten an established contracture.
Use Epic Care’s appointment page or call the practice. Ask for Dr. Prasad; the team can help with the appropriate location, scheduling and referral requirements.
