A conversation about you.
Whether you are coming for cancer care or a noncancerous condition, you don’t need to arrive with all the answers. We’ll review your situation, talk through your options, and discuss what matters most to you.
Bring your questions—and a family member or friend if that would help. There is room to talk about work, travel, caregiving, and the everyday details that matter when planning treatment.
A few things to bring.
- Your medication list, allergies, and relevant medical history.
- Any available imaging, specialist notes, and details of previous treatments.
- Your main questions and what you hope treatment will help you do.
Epic Care can help arrange records before your visit. If you have had radiation before, let the team know where and when.
Know what comes next.
If radiation is recommended, we’ll explain the expected benefits, what the visits involve, and any side effects relevant to your treatment. Planning and treatment are arranged after the consultation as appropriate.
Before you leave, you should know the next step and whom to contact with questions.
